Who we are

Zajel (zajel.us) is an email marketing service. This policy explains what personal data we handle and why. Questions: [email protected].

Data we collect from account holders

Your name, email address, company details you choose to provide, billing details if paid plans are introduced, and technical data such as IP address and login times. We use it to run your account, secure it, and contact you about the service.

Data you upload about your subscribers

When you import or collect contacts, you are the data controller and Zajel processes that data on your behalf, only to send your campaigns and produce your reports. We never sell it or use it for our own marketing.

Email tracking

Campaigns can include open-tracking pixels and tracked links so senders can see opens and clicks. Every campaign includes an unsubscribe link.

Service providers

We use Amazon Web Services (email delivery), Cloudflare (DNS and network protection) and Contabo (server hosting). They process data only to provide those services.

Retention

Account data is kept while your account is open and deleted within 90 days of closure, unless the law requires longer. Delivery logs are kept for up to 30 days.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to processing. Email [email protected] and we'll reply within 30 days. Subscribers to a sender's list should contact that sender, or unsubscribe using the link in any email.

Cookies

We use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect forms. We do not use advertising cookies.
